We are very thankful for donations from Helga Schoeber who dropped off her hand-knit toques and socks. As well, Ida and Jeane from Amy Circle, and Marie and Johanna from Parkdale Manor also donated hand-knit scarves.

The children are going to be very excited when they see these gifts and very appreciative of your generosity.

We want to thank Calkings & Burke and the North Okanagan Valley Gleaners for the food they donated. As well, a very big thank you to all of our volunteers for their countless hours of knitting.  Know that your work is not in vain and very much needed.

Sprinkles come in the form of a little sachet (a cost of 5 cents) which are sprinkled on food for pregnant mothers and babies. They contain essential vitamins and nutrients which the body needs. Sprinkles prevent malnutrition starting in the mother’s womb and aids in preventing anemia (not getting enough iron, causing you to feel dizzy or getting headaches) and rickets (which make your legs bend sideways).

We want to thank all our donors and volunteers for your faithful service and for helping feed thousands of hungry children in North Korea.
