As we are getting ready to head back to North Korea in another week, we welcome donations of baby formula and hand-knit goods for children in North Korea.

First Steps is preparing to send another team back to North Korea this March. The team will be observing the arrival and distribution of soybeans, micro-nutrient Sprinkles, canned tuna, canned mandarin oranges, school supplies and hand-knit goods.
We are very excited to see the children and how they are doing.
Thanks to so many of our volunteers, we were able to send a container filled with canned tuna, canned oranges, apple chips and dried soup mix along with school supplies and hand-knitted scarves, hats and mitts to North Korea. Last week another 40 tonnes of soybeans arrived in North Korea and have been distributed to children in Nampo and Hyongjesan. One tonne of soybeans feeds 100 children a daily cup of nutritious soymilk for one year. Currently, one tonne of soybeans, including shipping, has a cost of $850.
