What is Pitter Pats Kids Club?
Pitter Pats Kids Club is a club for kids helping kids in North Korea.
How did the club get started?
Shaunti Bains was nearly six when she told her grandma that she could start a club for kids who want to help First Steps. She decided that the club should be called “Pitter Pats.” The name comes from the idea that the pitter-pat of little feet are getting involved to help hungry children in North Korea.
How do kids help?
Kids can save loose coins or earn money by doing chores such as pulling weeds out of the garden. Some kids ask their relatives to save their pennies for them.
What are the activities of the club?
The club publishes a newsletter for the members and holds a Pitter Pats party every summer usually in August.
